Sunday Morning Schedule
A Sunday morning volunteer schedule is posted in Luther's Café near the flower chart. It can be used as a reference for when you serve as well as a way to change with someone should you become unable to serve on your scheduled date. Please consider signing up when you see an open Sunday, and thank you all for your dedicated service throughout the year!
Altar Setup Help Needed
More volunteers (singles or couples) are needed to help with preparing the altar prior to Sunday morning worship service. Please speak with Pastor Smith on the details if you are able to help.
We need some volunteers to help run the projection slides for our 9:00 am worship service. This is a simple task using a small handheld remote. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Please see an usher on Sunday if you can support this task.
St. Paul is looking for volunteers on a rotating basis to operate the live video feed for Sunday sermons. This is your chance to use a highly sophisticated system, having only basic technical knowledge of camera equipment and an iPad. This role requires a minimum amount of pre-service setup and prep. Once familiar with the workings of the components, the system can be operated from within the pews.
Volunteers are ideally…
…age 15 and up.
…able to arrive at Sunday service 20 minutes (minimum) prior to start.
…familiar using iPad applications and ‘Settings’ or willing to learn.
…enthusiastic about sending a live sermon to those who cannot attend in person.
…passionate about learning new technologies to assist the church and taking them even further than today.
Contact Dan at firstname.lastname@example.org for details and a demo.
Care For Others
Our church has two accounts that offer an opportunity for us to care for others. The "Care for Congregation" account is available to help those in our church congregation with financial assistance. The "Welfare" account is available to help those in our community outside St. Paul with financial assistance. Both accounts are not part of the regular church budget and rely solely on the generosity of members and friends of St. Paul Lutheran Church. If you are able to give above your regular offerings, please consider donating to one or both of these accounts. To do so, simply mark your donation as "Care for Congregation" or "Welfare". Thank you!
School Fundraising Opportunity
♥ St. Paul CDC participates in the Box Tops for Education fundraiser. Box tops can be found on the labels of various products including General Mills cereals, Hefty, Ziploc, Kleenex, Annie's, and Progresso, just to name a few. Just clip the label and leave them in the Box Tops inbox in the narthex or with Andrew in the office.
We also accept inkjet and toner cartidges, cell phones, MP3 players, laptops, and digital cameras. You can place any of these items in the white box in the parish hall right next to the red food donation box.
